Nebulae (2022)
Nebulae is a serie of three light sculptures that seek to highlight the materiality of the air and the movement of its currents, thus revealing the manifestation of fundamental forces that have been present since the beginning of life, but which, due to their characteristics, are invisible to the perceptual limits of human beings.
These pieces are proposed as a way of making visible the air, a dynamic force present in our daily lives, but whose forms and movements often go unnoticed. In addition to framing and making visible a physical phenomenon, the sculptures seek to unveil hidden dimensions of our environment and discover formal configurations of physical phenomena that cross our environment, but are imperceptible to the human eye.
In parallel, "Nebulae" seeks to offer a meditative experience through the observation of basic natural forms and patterns. Each sculpture acts as a receptacle for air currents, allowing the viewer to contemplate in a leisurely manner the forms and movements that follow the fluids. Forms and movements, which have also been present in the history of human beings, being that from different latitudes and cultures have been used as a symbol of transcendence.
