Rainbow
(2019)

"Rainbow" is an art installation that seeks to immerse the viewer in a world of the ephemeral and ethereal. In this work, the viewer encounters an experience in which he or she is immersed in a haze of colors that fluidly fills the surrounding space, manifesting itself in a variable way in response to the passage of time and the perspective from which it is observed.

The essence of "Rainbow" lies in the interaction of light with carefully arranged CDs and strategically placed lanterns. The projected light is refracted and reflected through the CDs, creating an iridescent spectrum that unfolds before the viewer's eyes. Upon entering this space, one experiences an ever-changing symphony of color that surrounds and envelops.

Rainbow" reminds viewers how, in everyday life, we tend to overlook the occupation that light has in our environment, as it often goes unnoticed. It invites us to stop and appreciate the ephemeral magic of light and color. At the same time, it reflects on the occupation that light has in space, which goes unnoticed in everyday experience.
